This website presents a selection of my work completed between 2001 and 2008. I am an architect with a Masters from the National Superior School of la Villette, in Paris.
During the last seven years, I worked as a contractor or a freelance architect in various offices in Paris, and in April 2006, I created my own office, ilimelgo. In December of 2008, I decided to sell my share of the practice to undertake a new professional challenge.
After the launch of ilimelgo, I shared my time between subcontracting with other firms and delivering projects for my own clients. When subcontracting, it was usally as a Project Manager on large projects. At ilimelgo, we handled projects in their entirety based on our knowledge of norms, principles of environmental construction, and management of the overall design processes. For nine months in 2007, I managed the preparatory studies of a new hospital in Guadeloupe, which gave me the opportunity to tackle the construction-related aspects of a tropical climate and to work with large team of stakeholders.
For my own clients, I completed renovation for retail stores or offices. In addition, I assumed all the responsibilities of an architect, from design and build to client relations and contract negotiation. At the end of 2007, we began work on a public project, a commercial kitchen for a hospital in Garches, which is now under construction.
Based on my past experience as an Autodesk Consultant, I worked to better improve processes, organization and execution of architectural projects using a specific software-driven methods.
In this website, you will first find my own projects and builds, and then you will find the projects I worked on as contractor or subcontractor.
